Field of Food is a program initiative developed by Volunteer Broward. Volunteer Broward, a 501(c) 3 nonprofit, provides a central focus for the development, growth and coordination of volunteer activities and services within Broward County and promotes involvement from all and for all segments of the community in relation to volunteerism. We connect people who want to help with volunteer opportunities that make a difference in our community. We refer individuals and groups to over 600 nonprofit organizations in Broward County, Florida

There are several ways to contribute to the 2nd annual Volunteer Broward Field of Food.
DONATE FOOD
Broward County food pantries, soup kitchens, and social service agencies are seeking nutritious, non-perishable foods (non-glass container), infant needs, and household supplies including:

Beans Can Fruit Can Vegetables Cereal Crackers Macaroni & Cheese Jam/ Jelly JuiceItems may be dropped off September 15 - October 15, 2009 at various FOOD COLLECTION SITES throughout Broward County, or at the second annual Volunteer Broward Field of Food distribution, taking place at Lockhart Stadium on Saturday, October 17 from 10 am until 2pm.
ORGANIZE A FOOD DRIVE

GIFTS OF MONEY
Support Field of Food by making an ONLINE DONATION securely through Volunteer Broward's website. 100% of all funds donated remain in your community to support the Million Meals Committee county-wide efforts.

There are a number of ways to volunteer in support of Volunteer Broward's Field of Food food and funds drive.
